2.1 Access to Units
Customers are permitted to access their units during our operational hours. Special arrangements can be made for extended access if required.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must ensure that all items stored comply with our storage guidelines. Hazardous materials, perishable items, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
3.1 Prohibited Items
The following items are not allowed in Storage Ilford:
- Flammable or explosive materials
- Perishable food items
- Illegal or unauthorized substances
- Live animals or plants
4. Payment Terms
Payment for storage units is due monthly in advance. Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, or direct bank transfer. Failure to make timely payments may result in late fees or termination of the storage agreement.
4.1 Late Payment Fees
A late fee will be applied if payment is not received within five (5) business days after the due date.
5. Liability
Storage Ilford is not liable for loss or damage to stored items unless caused by our negligence. Customers are encouraged to obtain insurance for their stored belongings.
5.1 Insurance
Customers may choose to insure their items independently or through our partner insurance providers.
6. Privacy Policy
We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your data.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the storage agreement by providing thirty (30) days written notice. Upon termination, customers must remove all items from their unit within the notice period.
7.1 Early Termination
Early termination fees may apply if the agreement is terminated before the end of the lease term.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from the use of our storage services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ilford.
9. Modifications to Terms
Storage Ilford reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Storage Unit Access Codes and Keys
Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their access codes and keys. In case of loss or unauthorized access, customers must notify Storage Ilford immediately.
10.1 Lost Keys or Codes
There is a replacement fee for lost keys or access codes. Customers should report such losses promptly to ensure the security of their units.
11. Storage Unit Maintenance
Customers are responsible for keeping their storage units clean and free from pests. Storage Ilford reserves the right to inspect units to ensure compliance with sanitary standards.
11.1 Unit Repairs
Any damages caused by the customer within the storage unit must be reported immediately. Storage Ilford will assess and handle necessary repairs promptly.
12. Subletting and Assignment
Customers are prohibited from subletting or assigning their storage units to third parties without prior written consent from Storage Ilford.
12.1 Unauthorized Use
Any unauthorized use of a storage unit may lead to termination of the agreement and potential legal actions.
13. Force Majeure
Storage Ilford is not liable for any delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, wars, or pandemics.
13.1 Notification
In the event of a force majeure, Storage Ilford will notify customers and make reasonable efforts to resume services as soon as possible.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
14.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Storage Ilford regarding the use of storage services.
By renting a storage unit with Storage Ilford, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
